The Luxomancer is the personal blog of L, a futurist who works in the fashion industry as an innovation specialist for a global luxury group. Prior to working in fashion, he worked at McKinsey, IDEO, Google, and YouTube. L has a business degree from The Wharton School of Business and a medical degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicina.

L is a proponent of “neoluxury,” a movement that seeks to return luxury to its roots in old-world craftsmanship while embracing advances in technological advances in the construction, material, and production of objects.
